I agree QP, but we all live w/threats on a daily basis. How to deal w/threats is the question. Was Saddam a threat, "yes", was he the reason for 911, "no", was 911 the reason for us going into Iraq, depends on who you ask. The bottom line is al-Qaida was responsible for 911, so we went to Iraq?.... what did they think Saddam would have weapons of mass destruction, "and Osama", come on. So many countries are a threat to the world community, should we jump into every country that poses a threat. If so, we better have more global support. Today, our leadership has walked away from more than a century of American leadership in the world to embrace a new, and dangerously ineffective, American disregard for the world. They bully instead of persuade. They act alone when they could assemble a team. They confuse leadership with going it alone. They fail to understand that real leadership means s!

by your principles and rallying others to join you. The only way for the U.S. to regain respect in the world community is to change presidents. I am not anti-Bush nor am I pro-Kerry, a politician is a politician, most will screw you for they're own gain. I vote for who (I HOPE) will benefit me the most. And I would just about bet that most people on this list who are for Bush, have money. All the people involved in this political wrangling just got my 2 cents worth.

You know I hate that our soldiers fighting this war and losing their lives but I hardly think that Iraq wasn't a threat. In 1993 Sadam tried to take former President Bush with a car bomb in Kuwait and President Clinton sent a couple cruise missiles into Iraqi intelligence headquarters.Sadam repeatedly kicked out UN inspectors and used the oil for food money like an ATM machine. All he had to do was show them how he destroyed his biological weapons and refused to.Like I said I hate this war but how can anyone honestly say there's no threat.Mark
