Kudos to you for your concern. How about one of those reverse papooses(SP?) that allow a person to carry a child across their own chest and the child is safe, can see what you see and is intimately close face to face.

Subject: [QUAD-L] Question for subscribers
Hello,
I am writing on behalf of a client I am working with. She has spastic quadraplegia due to CP. She uses a power wheelchair and would like to be able to safely carry and transport her 18 month old child. I am wondering if anyone has come across a product that might work for her? I could probably make something for her but I am concerned about it not be attached to the w/c properly and an injury resulting. Thanks for the help.
