Good question that has a whole bunch of dif answers. Much depends on your State of residence as Medicade varies. In Indiana, I have to meet a monthly spend down at the beginning of each month. I get 2 hrs in the morning and 2 at night here. Some people qualify for housekeepers, but not me. Because I have local family the State expects them to handle my housekeeping. You might visit a local university and try to make contact with others living on their own or check for local disability support groups and Independent living avocates. Stuntman
