They do!! Miles and miles of 'process" on medical mal. suits.. But the insurance or AMA lobbies don't tell you that ;)

198,000 people die each IN hospitals from medical malpractice. (the documented ones...not the stuff that has been covered up) This does not include nursing homes or other medical venues.

Jury awards in Med Mal have actually declined in the past 10 years.

85% of med mal cases that make it to court ...are ruled in favor of the doctor. Which in my case, is very likely. Legalities people know nothing about...

Before a case can even be filed there must be medical experts witnesses willing to testify the other doctor was wrong... You have NO idea how difficult and daunting a task that is.

You can not paint a civil case ..say against a business, with the same legal brush as medical malpractice. They are not in the same legal ball field. This would be like going to a podiatrist when brain surgery is needed.

Pres Bush is only pushing for Medical mal tort...because as mark said...the lobby's are getting what they paid for with Bush and First.

Does anyone find it so odd how Pres Bush, himself, filed a suit against a car rental company..when his ADULT daughter, knowingly and frequently rented a car, on a suspended license, had a wreck..No injuries..but yet the President filed suit because he felt it was in car rental places fault??

But because medical mal victims DARE question a doctor..ohh our cases are '

LOL ook ok I'll hush :)

*I have a press conference tomorrow I'm gearing up for...could ya tell? ;) )

I think they should have a screening process to prove it's a legitimate lawsuit so I agree eliminate the bs first.
