Ive read all your post regarding the quads having harder times getting
dates. I agree with this but we all must remem,ber that in the end all of us
only want to impress one person from the oppossite sex and make the most of it ,
possibly a life partner. Just because billy bob para can get 35 more women who
really cares, that's 34 more than he needs. Lets fface it once your in a chair
for a few years we all arent as shallow as we used to be. But I will tell you
guys this funny little story about when I first had my injury in the hospital. I
was a new cop at the time dating a female cop in training. I had my accident 8
weeks after I started. My gf stayed by my side for about two months then
said she needed to get ready for softball and broke off the relationship and
left me in the hospital bed. I cried cussed and beat the walls a little. But
nearly a year later I saw her again, she asked me if I was angry. I said no i
understand what u did and why you did it.............you were dating a mustang
then it turned into a pinto...you dont want a pinto you want a mustang. She just
looked at me, then we continued a conversation and went for a bite to eat. The
moral to all this is theirs always someone lower on the totem pole than you and
always someone higher, it will be what you make it..........at the same time put
yourself in the shoes of the walking people , back when you were on your feet
would you have dated a chair person quad, para, stroke or any other?We are all
in the same club now. Hope I made people think...........
