Hines VA in Chicago. One of 13 SCI specialty units in the VA System. In 96 I spent only 3 mo in rehab, C5-6 and no other serious injury except my neck. Yes the PT, OT, wasn't "optional". You either participated or got sent to a nursing home. We also had a 6 week course (concurrent) in our injury, what to expect, and how to direct our care. Stunt
