That set of stem cells referred to as being contaminated are "EMBRYONIC". Why the MEDIA keeps dropping that IMPORTANT distinction is political in nature. It creates an illusion that ALL stem cell sources are. Olfactory stem cells, cord blood stem cells, bone marrow stem cells, etc are being reaserched using federal funds AND ARE NOT CONTAMINATED. In fact, they have more promise of not being rejected. It is understandable why a researcher who thinks they are being overlooked, underfunded etc make a bunch of noise trying to be the squeakiest wheel. It doesn't mean their reaserch holds the most promise. Stunt
