But again, it was not a war that was needed right at that moment. Afghanistan should have been a priority. The connection with Iraq and al-queeda was not big and it's bigger now. Sure parts of Iraq are better off, but there are any number of countries that would be better off if we invaded. Sure Clinton thought they had WMD, the world did, even Bush Sr. did when he was in office. But they did not think it was an imminent threat. The reasons given now for this war would justivy going into many countries, but we don't. Greg
