One of the many reasons I love my rear entry Caravan.  I can park 
anywhere without worrying  about someone parking me in.  No lift to 
worry about breaking down.  Even if the automatic opening fails, you 
just open the liftgate with the key and pull the ramp down. 

Silas,  I used to own a full size Ford and while driving down the road 
one day, it just stops running.  One of those wonderful little computer 
chips went south.  The van had less than 20, 000 miles on it at the 
time.  Point is, all the manufacturers use computer chips and they're 
all vulnerable to failure.  I personally think they cause more problems 
than they solve.
