I always felt that if someone was going to put an indwelling cath in, I want a hug first and a cuddle after. j/k Have you considered an external cath. Not many UTI's. You only cath to check and make sure there's less than 50cc's residual. I haven't checked my residual in over 5 years.   john    In a message dated 7/22/2005 5:24:36 P.M.
