Hi Ron, I did intermiton cathing for 1st 3 or 4 years but we
kept having that same problem, I found out that it was blockage or scar tissue
that can form inside due to the cathing.I had mine removed twice by surgury but
when it returned the 3rd time my urologist told me to get a supra-pubic
catheter......this is a small hole in lower gut that cath goes right into the
bladder and gets changed once a month or so. Good Luck.
