My Dad just got back to Houston after going in to get his stuff from his apartment and said it literally looks like a third-world country right now.  Armed soldiers everywhere.  He saw several people being forcibly removed from their homes. (Not flooded homes FYI)   I, too, do not watch TV.  I only watch DVD's for entertainment and rely on multiple online sources for news and info.  Been doing this for 12 years now and can't watch "regular" TV for 5 minutes w/o being insulted, assaulted, or otherwise mentally molested.
