I just talked with a guy at Kyocera and he said "Yes it is 100% hands free...If you have it plugged in.) I thought of having a cigarette lighter plug put on my chair just for something like that. He said most of the ones that have voice commands can do it hands free with power.   QuadPirate, does yours need to be plugged in ?   Greg
