It can be hard to do. How quick can you get the door closed behind you? You need to be quick as cats really don't listen to anything you have to say & if they want out they will jump over you. Best solution is to let them outside, they come back and it will saves a little on cat litter.

A leash & a cat, hmmmm!!! Never tried it. There is no way any cat I ever had would let me do that but I've heard it can be done.
