When we got
our persians we had them " fixed ", and declawed , and we knew they
would never be outside kitties. They never really tried to get out, but
when I needed extra room between the door and myself I use a bottle
of water with sprayer and usually all I have to do is shake it and they go
moving out of my way.

--- Begin Message --- It can be hard to do. How quick can you get the door closed behind you? You need to be quick as cats really don't listen to anything you have to say & if they want out they will jump over you. Best solution is to let them outside, they come back and it will saves a little on cat litter.
A leash & a cat, hmmmm!!! Never tried it. There is no way any cat I ever had would let me do that but I've heard it can be done.
Good luck

O.k here's the deal. I'm a quad and recently adopted an 8 month old cat. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get out the door without the cat running out? Also, has anyone tried taking the cat out on a leash in the chair?=
