Your idea's are good BUT I can't unplug it. If I took the paper out, that I can reach, she would look under the cabinet it sits on to look for paper to HELP me. I can't take out the ink cartridge either.   I've thought of telling her the truth, but what do I say? Hey, I could use Pete! Tell her that Pete doesn't want the printer used so much.      Bobbie
