When taking antibiotics people often need to replace the good bacteria.
Acidophilus can help but you might try more ditropan as long as the doctor is ok
with it. Is he on any other anti-spasm drugs? Baclophen, Diazepam, etc. My
guess is he has another infection going. If pain meds work, give them a
try. hydrocodone has the side effect of stopping paristalsis, which usually
ends bowel spasms. This is one the doctor should be on top of.
