Hey Bobbie,
I love it when someone will ask my nurse or family member a zealion questions about me, and im setting right there.  Its like they look right through me, somtimes my nurse won't know the answers and ask me.  Ill answer the question and they still go on with the conversation with her, its like their afraid of me or im not capable to answer the questions.  I guess being in a chair automatically makes you retardated.  Lol.

Subject: [QUAD-L] Being ignored

The world is our stage and we are all actors and performers.  You merely had a bad performance day. If I personally need the feeling of being attention to, I stop... then take a breath.....then begin the performance of a lifetime.  Everyone once in awhile, you will get a standing ovation for your performance.
At Sears, I would have dropped the money on the floor and proclaim'd something that the salesperson would never forget.  When at restaurants, demand that you order first and ask all others to wait.  Its kinda fun if you time it right.
I've been known to utter phrases like, "You don't know who I am.... do you?"  And then just smile.  To get people attention, you have to draw their attention.
I had the same problem, when I was plain ugly.  Now I get alot of attention.  Maybe too much attention, lol
Best Wishes

I was out today and got totally ignored, I HATE IT WITH A PASSION!!! In Sears the cashier asked my friend "Is that all there is?" I had the freaking money in my paw. Then, I was at Atlanta bread company "Is there anything else?" Yes, I would like to get some coffee. Then in a health food store.
Do you guys get this shit too?
