Buying my van I was totally confused, I didn't know what I was getting
except transfertation. I hate the thing! The lift, hell a ramp would
be so much better. I can't see nothing but straight down on the road, I
feel like a bobbel head doll when driving by the time I get anywhere my neck
hurts like hell. Ive been looking at mini van, even had two come for a
demo. But im so tall I could bearly fit in and when in my head rubed the
top, do any of you have the same troubles? Any suggestion!

Van
I was injured in 1973, my settlement came through 1980. Got a
1980 Chevy full size 350 V8, 33 gallon tank, posie traction, drop floor,
raised roof, drop power pan, platform lift, push/pull hand controls and a
12 toggle switch cot pit panel to operate windows, fan, door locks, ignition,
power pan, electric gear shift, wipers and a few other bells and
whistles. It also had a sink, ice box, propane stove, state of the art stereo
system, bed and over head pine cabinets. It was set up to be a loaded
camper van. The grand total came to $25,000
It was over 2 tons and it cost me $25 to fill it back in
1980 because it also had some kind of reserve tank. I was restricted on
certain roads because of my height and weight. It was a monster to drive. When
it had 500 miles on it I took off July 5th 1980 and drove from New Jersey up
to Canada, over to Washington State then back. 10,000 miles in 8 weeks.
Camping at KOA's with my sister Patti who was 24 and I was 25. it
was one of my best summers.
