Does anyone live in south Texas, i.e., Brownsville, Harlingen, McAllen? We are considering a move, perhaps to that area and wondered about wheelchair accessibility, both in housing and public buildings/areas, ease of finding attendants, etc. I did notice that housing was VERY affordable (not sure why), which is a plus if we need to remodel. I'm assuming it's just like any other areas -- but any information, good or bad, would be helpful.
