Usually in Rehab, OT or PT. I almost had
one yesterday. I want a new chair, so my doc set up an appointment with Rehab.
So they can check my size, go over options, look for areas of your body that
need extra padding, etc. But since I’ll continue with my same cushion,
they didn’t do it. But never buy a chair right through a dealer, always
go through Rehab. They set up the appointment so the dealer is there with them.
They had me out of my chair on a mat, twisting me, stretching me, making sure
my hips were sitting straight. They found I need more padding in areas, bigger
side supports, lumbar support, etc. My pelvis is bending wrong, causing a
bigger quad gut, and making my breathing harder. I never noticed until they had
my sitting posture straighter… I thought it was straight before. It was a
good checkup. She wants me now to come in a few times to get some therapy to
try to fix my hips. Greg In a message
