You all can be upset with me if you want to, but I think that using the tactic that they did will hopefully make people think twice. People encounter someone with paralysis at some point in their lives whether meeting them or just crossing paths in a store but most of the time, they don't know what caused the paralysis. When I meet people, they just assume it was a car accident because those people hear so much about car accidents causing it.
I think using the tactic that MADD did, can help these same people realize that it could of been a cause of someone causing an accident because someone had too much to drink and got behind the wheel. And yes, a person has a lot to lose if they become paralyzed at the cost of it. Sometimes it takes such a harsh comercial to do it and if it works and people think twice before drinking and driving, therefore, causing less injuries, I support it.

Interesting Concept, but not outrageous, by any means. If I thought dancing naked in the streets of New York or Chicago would make anyone reconsider doing anything that risky, I too would consider doing it. Granted, that would be outrageous, if you knew me.I'm spending too much time in hospitals these days meeting people of all ages who have experienced an SCI trauma. Its not a reassuring experience.... even once. Having to relate to them, their friends and family is not a rewarding or comforting experience. If we can say or express a commercial that will make one person think and possibly prevent... I say "Go Fer It!"WIn a message dated 9/25/2006 4:55:35 A.M. Central Daylight Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:Hello everybody
