Congratulations on your new founded freedom in driving. I myself have
been driving since 2002 with electronic controls and do enjoy the freedom.
Once you get your license go out and do some practicing on a day with less
traffic like a Sunday morning. A drive to some spots that you know you
will be going to so you can be prepared for obstacles such as dips, potholes in
the road, driveway approaches and off camber situations.
Before I carried any passengers I did extensive practicing by myself so I
would not have to put up with the passengers telling me what to do and getting
scared and screaming. I live in a very hilly area and I needed to make
sure I could handle the hills and off camber situations that are accustomed to
my area.
My wife just left me about a month ago so I do understand your pain but as
far as I know she does not have a boyfriend yet. Anyway, good luck and
please be careful driving.
Jim
P.S. if you need any pointers just drop me an
e-mail.
