I have been driving for 5 years with EMC controls. My only regret is that the gas lever should be pulling back instead of pushing. When i hit the brakes"pulling back" my body lunges forward and makes me push forward -causing jerky motion. I can not stop on a dime......   I live in hills too. I do not drive in snow.   Drive defensivly and you'll be alright.
