My situation is a little more complex because my aid is the mother of my 15yr old son. She doesn't live with me she lives with her boy friend, I have a second aid that lives here that works 3 days a week and at Wal-Mart 5 days a week or I'd just have her take over but she can't leave there because of insurance reasons. I'm not prosecuting my son's mother I just can't, my son has always lived with me except when I was in rehab and a nursing home and he's lived with me because his mother was always irresponsible. It's a complicated situation I haven't figured out yet but I did confront her about it and after arguing for a while she did confess to taking them and appologized. I told her if she couldn't see how morally wrong it is to not only put her addiction before my health and how sickening it is for a person to take complete advantage of a disabled person not to mention her son's father, I said next time you feel the urge to take my medication just call me in the room and do it in front me and laugh knowing all I can do is watch and see how you feel then and hopefully then you'll see the seriousness of your addiction. She broke down and cried and it was not pretty. It really sucks because we are really good friends but we were a horrible couple and only together a little over a year, just long enough to have my son. When I was able to be up I found that I had missing crystal, pottery, and even some china.  She had even taken a mixer.  The lady was only 54 and she died of a heart attack within 6 months. What really took it,,was when we looked in our guns that we hadn't had out in a year,,we had a pistol missing  !! They will steal us blind,,I don't trust anyone in my house that I cannot see.--but we have to have the help,,we else can we do  ?? Kathy
