LOL. Our first unit was the "Butler In A Box". Originally programmed with
a subservant personality, we reprogrammed the unit to a "Know It All
Teenager" called Booger. Booger, was lazy and always demanded that you repeat
everything, or just like to play dumb. It could do almost anything when
properly
setup and programmed. It was a tough unit on Quads who often have different
voices in the early morning and hours later.
It was kewl then and l'm sure still kewl now.

Thanks Jim for the information. How much did this particular device costs.
Without giving away too many details, I have a sizable grant which I have
not used and it must be used on items to make my house more accessible. Since
my house is already accessible the only things I can think of are additional
door openers, a device like you suggest here, widening my office door, and
perhaps putting tinting on my windows so that my skin disorder (my knuckles
get very hard and dark when exposed to too much sun) is not further
exacerbated.
