i'd say i get a UTI at least once every 2 months, but probably more frequently than that on average. i had the mitrofanoff procedure a couple years ago, hoping that if i catheterized more often i would eliminate infections. unfortunately this wasn't quite the case. i may get them slightly less frequently but it's not a huge change. anyone else had the mitrofanoff? for those who don't know what it is: http:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitrofanoff_appendicovesicostomy
