Joan, it sounds as though you've made every effort to correct your ex 10 glitch
and you are probably aware that the devices have different channels but in case
that was an oversight I wanted to mention it. Isn't technology wonderful when
it works? Dan T.

I have an environmental control unit -- a SiCare -- that I use. As with all
voice-activated, there are drawbacks, but it certainly has helped me control
the environment immediately around me. I use it at night to turn my fan on and
off, control the entire TV and satellite dish, and control the lights around
the entire house. I was supposed to get a door opener, but so far that has not
happened. But I have' not lost the faith yet. When we built my house, we
actually installed X--10 throughout the house. For the most part it has worked
well, with funny little glitches that we have not been able to correct i.e.,
when I turn the lights on and off in my room it also turns the lights on and
off in the living room. We have reprogrammed them, we have moved the bounce
device to different areas of the house, and now we just laugh when I turn the
lights on and off. Good luck in your search.

  Joan

Joan, I am looking to purchase a totally hands-free cell phone and sometime
in the future possibly some environmental control products. Thanks for all
your feedback on your cell phone. Dan T.

    Hi Dan.

I purchased the carrier sling that they carry. It is well made, will work
quite well, and their delivery time was very quick. It is almost exactly like
the sling I have for my barrier free lift, but is made of sturdier material and
with handles at the appropriate place. I am going to try to find out more about
their assisted hand device. It would be so fantastic be able to give myself a
drink, let alone be able to feed myself :-) :-) :-).

What is it that you're looking at? That is, if you don't mind my being nosy.

    Regards.

    Joan
