That is why I always enjoy your postings, John. You are the real deal.
Jets are designed to carry a load of weight. Mostly luggage and shipping
containers. That's where the real money is. As an after thought came
passenger
service was considered. But in doing so the air industry realized that flyers
wanted everything for nothing.
Funny, but I haven't heard of any nightmares of chair users stuck in jets
for 8-10 hours because of weather and no gate at arriving airports....... yet.

I also know several people that don't eat at fancy restaurants because of
portion control servings. They will only eat at buffets, so that they can eat
their weight and pay a fraction of the price as those high priced eateries
with fancy names that you can't pronounce. Those buffets are no more
accessible than the fancy restaurants, but Hey.... for the price and all the
food,
drinks and creme pies.... who cares (lol)

Fly me to the moon and I'll see ya there!

I rank flying up there with say, a root canal without anesthesia, or
catching on fire. It is never a good experience and the best part about it is
that
nobody on the plane really wants to be on the plane. There is a sense that
you're not being treated badly because you are handicapped, you're being
treated
badly because airlines are involved!
