WOW, 15mi is incredible. You are braver than me going out alone
that far away.
I hope you had a cell phone with you.

I decided to go on a long drive today, to see how far I could go.
They have a trail system though our city and neighboring cities
they are just fixing up. It used to be mostly a farming area in the
desert, so it has lots of canals. They paved a 10 foot wide path
along 1 side for jogging, bikes, etc. Dirt on the other side for
horses. It starts by my house and I followed it for 14 miles
through 2 cities. I could have gone further, but it crossed over
railroad tracks. I might have been ok in going over them, but it
was in a quiet location and I did not want to get stuck. There was
about a 3 inch gap between the edge and the rails… With a low
drained battery, I did not want to risk it. It’s a fun trail, the
canal is maybe 20 feet wide and has lots of fish in it. Many kinds,
the grass carp are 3 feet long. The trail connects a bunch of town
parks, so I took my time and checked out the parks as I went
through. Though some of the trail is just threw commercial
development areas. After I was done, I didn’t want to risk the
drive back, so I had called home to get picked up. That’s the
furthest I’ve ever driven, 15 miles by the time I was finished. My
chair has a mileage count on the LCD panel.
