Right now I am using a Plantronics wireless, but I have experienced some
problems with it as of late. I think if you have some hand movement, it is
a good microphone. My problems may be not shared by many, but when I leave
my house to ride around the neighborhood and happen to stop and talk to a
neighbor, it goes out of synchronization. Since I am unable to move, much
less put the microphone back on the charging station, it leaves me in the
lurch and then I am left using my backup microphone. I also have some
serious issues with how long the battery stays fully charged on the
Plantronics. 7 1/2 to eight hours is just not enough for me.

I am currently in the process of trying to get another microphone. I just
purchased an inexpensive noise canceling ear clip style of microphone.
Unfortunately the other wireless system I have does not support the 3.5 mm
connection this one has. My older and right now backup microphone doesn't
filter out background noises and is not nearly as accurate as my
Plantronics, so I am waiting for another wireless system to get here so I
can power my microphone from my wheelchair with hopefully the same accuracy
as I am enjoying with the Plantronics.

I'll let you know if everything works out all right.

Hello, I currently am using a Sensenbrenner microphone attached to a
gooseneck arm and a base. When I am in my chair I use a gooseneck and
microphone at a desk but when I am in bed I have to transfer the microphone
and base to a cart and the gooseneck is getting weaker.
What does anyone use to hold their microphone?

do you like the wireless earpiece? Does it stay on?

What microphone do you use and are you happy with it ?

Is your microphone and its holder convenient for you?

any input would be appreciated... Dan T.
