My chair tech said IN has gotten really bad, with new codes & going to a OT, not just a Dr's script anymore. Ross said Ohio & CA are still easy, but soon to change. Lindaf All of the states are equally as bad, just in different phases. CMS rejection rate is better than 50% and often claims are resubmitted several times before acceptance. DME are learning very quickly that CMS is very serious about their new rules concerning powered wheel devices. Manufacturers have been preparing for this for more than 2 years as they lobbied and tried to fight CMS with those chairs already produced and shipped. Those in the middle of the chain are the ones beginning to realize what is happening. Competitive bidding is around the corner. That will promote more problems too.
