Hi John,
Here is some info on the Russian Stem Cell work being done now.
http://www.healingtherapies.info/RussianStemCell.htm#TOP
This is work being done now, and from the results of the those that I've
been in contact with, it has been successful work. As always any new info
should always be carefully checked out before any commitment is made.

I hope this info helps. Stay Strong.

you are asking about stem cell injections to the damaged area of the spinal
cord. This operation is only being performed in China. They may not have
American technology but they are having some success in stem cell treatments
and operations. They have had some success with MS and Parkinson's. I believe
someone from the list went to china about a year ago. I don't know how he or
she is doing, though.
There is a group of Chinese doctors claiming very fast recovery times with
transplants that are accompanied with stem cells. By the time Bush leaves
office China may be sporting medical treatments 25 years ahead of America.
Here's hoping they share their notes.

Dan
As quads we have so few ways of releasing tension, I know that myself and
others in the group have little or no movement from the neck down and others
have movement that is so restricted even though they have movement below the
neck that thing build up within us with no release. I have had bouts with
depression over the last ten years and don't even want to get out of bed or get
so tired after getting in my chair that I want to go back to bed after just a
few hours. I find that I want to get lazy and tired when I don't keep my mind
busy and don't keep my day full with activities. Your reasons for being tired
are probably different from what I've been stating and what I have been saying
may not make much sence, but if it doesn't, give me the benefit of the dought I
am writing this at a late hour.

Hello everyone, I have been a quad now for post 10 years...for the last few
months I have been feeling really weak and exhausted and don't seem to hardly
have the energy to just sit in my chair all day. I know for one thing I deal
with alot of pain and never sleep as well as I did the 1st 8 years or so of
quad life....Anyhow I was wanting to know if any of you ever feel this way???
Or got any suggestions ? Thanks Dan H.-- c-6 -10 years post.
