Yes I will! My eating habits are on now the top priority list. My ER visit really freaked me out, it scared the hell out of my wife, son, nurse and the rest of my family. I have been blessed with my health as quad for 19 yrs. I have had one flap done (about 6 years ago) and I have only been treated for one UTI. I would suggest if you eat differently during Christmas, adjust your medication, such as stool softener's senna or what ever you use for your bowel routine. It has been 33 years for me so I use a number of stool softener's and senna. I also use enemas as magic bullets were not working for me. I know you are much newer injury, so they may have taught you differently. I have been on other medications for bowel problems. I have never had the heart problems, and I don't have a bladder anymore because of bladder cancer, but ileo-conduit and I use a flange with an ostomy bag that snaps onto the flange. It was a big change, but not so bad. They were not doing super-pubic catheters, just indwelling. Craig was doing a study on a catheter causing bladder cancer a number of years ago. I'm so sorry about your atrial fibrillation. One of my friends in Egypt just died from heart attack when his blood pressure was too low. His health had been okay, other than I don't think they have very good spinal cord injury care. He was in his early 30s with a law degree and had gone through stem cell in Russia. I can't find these pictures from his trip. He had, me. Saturday afternoon chat that Mark used to have and we exchanged information. It is quite sad as he was such a kind guy. You don't get power wheelchairs or even cushions. I thought one of the girls on the list was going to give him her extra roho. Its family did not even have a car. we are so lucky to have insurance, Medicare and Medicaid with all its problems, compared to many countries. I am Sure, I have not helped you. Always, Dana. I have problems not drinking diet Sprite zero, but only a couple a day. Good luck to you and I hope this never happens again and they can figure out exactly why steps to take. So it does not. Does your blood pressure go up during these episodes? My best friend (53) has had a lot of problem with his heart, he has had two heart attacks and 2 strokes, seven bypass surgery. He is a respiratory therapist. So he knows a lot about medicine. I always ask him questions. Check out AOL Money & Finance's list of the hottest products and top money wasters of 2007.
