Yeah ... but not very recently.  They usually come in spurts as if that is
the only thing they have to do at the moment and is exactly what W
described.

Television here has been preying upon the viewers for over 50 years now.
Especially to give money to sponsor a child in an underdeveloped country.
My husband says that that same commercial has been running since he was
younger and even though they get huge sponsors from those that buy into
that... those countries never learn not to keep having oodles of children
that they cannot support to feed.  it is their problem but everyone likes to
beg for the United States to give, give, give.  We have enough problems here
of our own!

And most people in the United States would rather keep pushing these
commercials instead of ones to advocate for people to go over there and
teach birth control.  That is the only thing that is going to help them.
