My accident happened when I was 15 years old and it took me about 10 months
for my period to resume after the traumatic injury.
Even though my husband would not "prefer" to deal with the monthly mess ...
at least it is a sign that I am healthy and regular.  I/We don't like to
mess with what's working.  Fortunately... I only menstruate for about three
good days and then I'm done.
