The finger is red with a ½ inch line. As redness gets to the base it follows
on tiny vain down my wrist. Right, sounds infected. But no. When hand is
elevated redness goes away. I posted on the thread about clots because it
entered my mind. This morning the finger is simply purple, but again I am
trying to elevate it. Thanks to all. Guess I need to wait for my appointment
seeing redness is not spreading.

I've been taking iron pills for about two months. My friend's doc told him last
week that iron pills were a waste of time and gave him injections. Anybody know
the facts on this? Larry
