Its tough being a Judge. Its tougher being a Jurist. Its toughest... being
a Defendant.
We are only allow to read hearsay and asked to judge and comment. With
sorry, it can't be done fairly with limited info. The accident, the crash,
the
loss of life, the injuries and the loss to the families can not be measured in
dollars and cents.... or punishment. And yet in our justice system there
will always be both cause and effect. Thank Goodness, modern justice is not
based on "An Eye For an Eye", as it once did and in some places of the world,
is still practiced.

Then there are the "victim impact statements" you may or may not have been
exposed to.
Husband is left without his wife and companionship, forever.
Children are left without their Mother and her Love and Guidance, forever.
Grandchildren are left without their Grandmother and her Love and Guidance,
forever.

I wonder how your parents and family would have acted had the roles been
reversed and you were the victim instead of the Defendant. And yet the Love,
Kindness and Compassion of your family continues, inspite of what they are
faced with.

No judgement by the court will settle the grief, anger and loss to all
parties. Its a tough call....No its a VERY tough call to judge, on anyone
else.

I can only wish the best to all.
Best Wishes
W
