I agree with Mark on the 3-5 years, depending on the expertise of your rehab 
doctor, OT, PT, and yourself.   Remember the Pilot's Creed... Attitude = 
Altitude.   If you are going to be a Quad or Para, be a smart, wise and 
educated 
Quad or Para.   Look into furthering your education.   You won't be the 
first... 
nor will be the last.   I sincerely hope that college is on your horizon.
