I have no fear of toolbars except those that redirect my searches. The yahoo toolbar doesn't seem to do this and it is easily turned off by going to "tools" then "toolbars" and unclicking any toolbars you want to stop running. I do not like Norton and I feel it is only helpful if it is free. Even then I have had computers that just slow down incredibly from running it. If you are going to purchace a suite of security software go to CNET or ZDNET to see what people and experts consider to be the best bang for your buck. You should have an anti-virus software running and a firewall. By going to "tools" and then "internet options" then "security" you can add sites to your restricted site list. This can stop others that use your computer from going to sites that have viruses, trojans, and worms. Anti-spyware is an important part of your computer defence. Don't be afraid to post questiuons to experts and the folks selling computers.

I am not real sure on this and we are getting a new computer, Perhaps I could buy a 3 year security plan PLUS use my Yahoo security also to make me have even more protection???
