Quadius,

Have you tried using Vista's Speech Recognition? It works amazingly well and
is relatively similar to NaturallySpeaking.

I just purchased a computer with Kaspersky, but I ended up having to take
the computer back because it had Vista with 64-bit system. This is a big
warning for everyone. Right now Dragon NaturallySpeaking does not work with
a 64-bit system. I ended up having to look high and low to find a computer
fast enough to run Vista plus Dragon NaturallySpeaking. Now I'm a little
concerned about the quality of my sound card, but hopefully I'll be okay in
the long run.

Hi Greg,

Congratulations on your new computer? Is it Vista and do you use Dragon.
That kind of worries me because my computer came with Norton and I have that
on all of my computers. I have never heard of Kaspersky. I have had two
computers come with Norton.

I really don't like Vista as it does not work very well with Dragon 9,
unless I'm doing something wrong. Dragon doesn't respond to the commands
that were no problem with XP

Does anyone have any suggestions? What is the best kind of Bluetooth
microphone to use with Dragon?

I am just using a USB wired microphone that will not let me read the story.
The microphone did work for more than a month and all of a sudden stopped
working.

Thank you for any suggestion that can be given.
Dana

Hello all---thanks for the advice on the internet security issue. My server
yahoo could not provide security on my new computer now because the new
computers are 64 bit and they are not up to that yet...they only can go up
to 36 bit.. they told me they will probably upgrade later but the new
computers are ahead of them. So I went back to the Best Buy store to get
Norton and they told me that they no longer will recommend Norton due to
problems, and I should get the newest and best of all called Kaspersky.com.
It cost me $80 bucks for 1 year, seems like everything is just a sheme to
get more money these days ! Anyway I'm up and running on my new pc. and by
the time a year goes by, yahoo will probably be upgraded to newer security.
thanks, Dan H.
