Honestly I wish I knew what kept me this way, because it is not all peaches
and cream. I have been suffering from excessively loose stools and extreme
bowel pains off and on for quite some time. The G.I. physician assistant
who saw me about a month ago thinks the problem is primarily related to my
lactose intolerance. I have lowered my intake of dairy and am taking quite
a bit of Lactaid with meals that might possibly contain even the slightest
hint of dairy. Not to mention the fact that I am having trouble processing
any tomato-based products.

When I had problems with constipation I made sure that I took one tablespoon
of Metamucil each day and on my bowel days I took two tablespoons of mineral
oil in one tablespoon of GoLyghtly (spelling) dissolved in water six hours
before my scheduled bowel regimen. The combination of this helped
considerably.
