I have had Windows Vista and voice recognition for two years now. I do not use AOL, so I cannot answer that question. I use Internet explorer, all the Microsoft office programs, a couple of drawing programs, havent tried Facebook, U-tube works just fine, and I really like being able to say show numbers and then OK to click on a button.
I have not used dragon naturallyspeaking since version seven something so I cannot compare. I am extremely pleased, especially with the fact that it learns new words very quickly just by using them. The only glitch appears to be with excel when it brings up a speech box that you have to designate between nine choices. I hope that youll be able to work with it, I really like to be able to open two or three Internet windows and switch between them easily. I usually have three or four applications open at once, and just have to say switch to word and its done. Good luck Joan in Reno where it got to 49° today J
