That scares me as I am still waiting on my chair and am mostly bed bound.... Wouldn't a standing machine help?

DEXA Scores i haven't *quite* had the same issues with bone the Billy and Merril are mentioning ... BUT... I'm wondering if anybody here has had a DEXA Scan recently (or ever) to test bone density. I had it done 3 years ago and had pretty bad bone loss -- as expected. I started Fosamax thinking it would help but couldn't take it for 9-10 months while I was on bedrest after my surgeries last year. Since then I took it for another year and had another scan just a week or two ago. My scores were the same or worse in most cases! I don't know if it's the Fosamax not working -OR- if the time on bed rest un-did any benefits I might have had from the Fosamax in the first place. I'm just curious how anybody here scored. I had areas ranging from -1.7 to -3.5 (none in the + side!). Best wishes! --Tod
