I am using a permobile now, I previously was using a jazzy. Let me
tell you it was like going from a Kia to a lexus!!! But I bought it
barely used 4 $3000.00 out of pocket. I did that so I can have a
"back- up", but I use the permobile as my "main" chair. Only problem,
when I break it, I have to fit the bill, & believe me the parts aren't
cheap!!!! But I get superior milage from it! Like bigtime miles on 1
charge!!! I recomend them to anyone. It is time for me to get a
replacement through medicare/Medicaid & they r just now starting to
cover the permobile! So that is great! I need rear wheels for my
permobile now, the threads r showing. That comes out of pocket, I can
try eBay or even craigslist. Hope I find some anywhere cheap! But good

As far as chin control and mode buttons, I would speak to my wc tech,
the person who sized u up, they should be aware of that kinda stuff.

I've always had an arrow or a storm. My new storm is not working
out. I'm thinking Permobil C 350 corpus or the C 500 RS. Is there
any advice you can give between these two. I know the 350 is rear
wheel drive and the 500 is front wheel drive. They both say they can
go 6.5 mph. But are the motors the same? Battery life the same? I do
need a chin control. I'm not going to wear that harness. I'd like to
mount the chin control on a swing away arm. Anybody out there like
that? What kind of switch do you have to switch modes? Any advice is
appreciated.
