Ok, here is how you do it in california. You have lawyer set up a trust that's sole job is to take care of your stuff. Your stuff belongs to the trust, house, bank accounts, Cars, everything. This trust takes care of yuor bills. You name yourself as the CEO.(this is where you pay your bills.) Pay yourself the legal Amount you can make. Now you own nothing. It is a bit schizophrenic, but now you can get state help. Ask a lawyer in California first. You might want to keep your SSDI coming in your name (Ha).
