Now that's what I'm talking about -- thank you, Jim! You rock!

I am so glad to be back on this list!

This is a Switch-Adapted Cordless Call Chime (looks like the same one Dan
mentioned) for someone who needs to use an adaptive switch. <

with it preset to full volume. If you can't access your computer, turn your TV
up to full volume. If that doesn't work, you've got to get a new roommate.

response:

Sometimes I have problems at night and I desperately need to get a
roommate to come into my room, and nobody answers my wireless intercom, their
cell phone or the house phone, and I'm left to deal with it on my own. Does
anybody know of a good, loud buzzer or anything I might be able to use to raise
the dead?? I've actually had to call 911, who doesn't understand that I am
spasming because I need to be rolled. So they washed their hands of me, and
have made it clear that I either let them take me to the emergency room next
time or pay for them to come out.. My roommate insists that he is just too
heavy a sleeper. I'm out of options. What is out there that may help me? Better
roommates?

      Thanks, Nick
