I'm surprised that wasn't discussed during your OT eval of the chair and how you would use it. The single arm lift has its max lift rating and you want to exceed it. Billy, I just got a Permobil C500 RS and I'm having an issue with fitting into my van because this chair weighs 150lbs. more than my old TDX chair. Therefore my one armed van lift can't handle the weight. Also, this chair is just huge. What type of van and lift do you use? Do you sit up front or back? I'm in another new chair (C500 with RS seat) and I can't use 3 chairs. It only needs batteries, rubber and 2 minor pieces to get road worthy.
