Back in the real world, I've always taken vitamins because they help your immune system to function at it's best. I don't know a Doctor that doesn't take them, or a pharmacist. It woud be nice if we could eat such healthy food that we didn't need supplements, but I can't be certain of my meal composition. Superbugs are a result of over use of anti-biotics and people taking the anti-biotic only untill they feel better and not completing the full regiment. Many anti-biotics are present in the foods we eat. Normal bugs get a chance to mutate untill they are immune to the medicine we depend on to keep them in check. The stupid part is sending these people to a hospital were they infect others with comprimized immune systems because even the best hand washing will not stop the transmision of superbugs. There is a bug specific to overuse of hand sanitizers but it isn't a superbug. It can be a problem in nursing homes and hospitals. Multivitamins and probiotics will help you survive a superbug outbreak.

I've heard of those super bugs, that's scary, bugs mutating due to antibacterials. It is a filthy tradition that probably kills more people than most plagues. I've seen what I get on my hands. If my aids didn't clean really well they'd be sick constantly. john ________________________________ From: Eric W Rudd <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wed, November 18, 2009 6:43:36 PM Subject: Re: [QUAD-L] multivitamins lol the only time i wash my hands is by holding them under running water & during my shower Eric W Rudd [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- >From: Dan >To: [email protected] >Sent: Wednesday, November 18, 2009 5:38 PM >Subject: Re: [QUAD-L] multivitamins > >I used to be a big fan of antiseptic products until I learned, as Don >suggested, that by doing so we are creating super bugs.
