Determine a need
Get Medical Doctor's Order for wheelchair evaluation by a Certified
Occupational Therapist.
The eval goes back to your Medical Doctor and they issue a second Order for
 such device.
You take the Order to a DME/Provider and they fullfill that Order. The
DME/Provider may show you
various manufacturers that meet or exceed the Ordered requirements.
When you receive your new change, the OT reviews each item and makes sure
that the Provider's ATS makes any and all adjustments before signing off on
that chair.

Hope the process works for YOU!
Best Wishes

back-up chair even---my old backup was so old it became obsolete lol. thanks
